The final stages of integration between MFB and Mutual Bank are underway and will be complete the weekend of July 19 and 20, 2008. Our combined bank is not just bigger, it's better. With the same people and core values, we will be able to offer you more products and services.
Your MFB accounts will automatically transfer or "convert" to similar accounts at Mutual Bank on Monday, July 21, 2008. In transferring your accounts, we have selected the Mutual Bank accounts that are the closest match to your current services. If you believe a different type of Mutual Bank account would be a better match to your needs, we will make it easy and convenient for you to switch.
We are providing you with a helpful "Welcome" booklet. Here is a brief summary of the information you will need to know about the transition to Mutual Bank:
- You will be part of a bank that is dedicated to you and your community. Management and decision-making will remain local and you will continue to be served with attention and care by people who already know you.
- Direct deposits, automatic payments and transfers will continue without interruption.
- If you have a CD, it will have the same rate structure and term until maturity.
Read more about this on pages 9 and 10 in your "Welcome" booklet.
- Online Banking accounts originally set up at MFB will be transferred automatically to Mutual Bank's Online Banking. Refer to page 11 in your "Welcome" booklet for more information about Online Banking.
- If you receive incoming wires, you will need to notify the originators of your new wire routing and transit number. Effective Monday, July 21, 2008, the new routing and transit number for incoming wires only will be: 274970681.
- You will have access to many more banking locations in Delaware, Elkhart, Grant, Kosciusko, Randolph, St. Joseph and Wabash counties – 32 full-service financial centers and 37 ATMs. See page 18 of your "Welcome" booklet for locations near you.
- Account changes have been made to the terms of your account. Please refer to your "Welcome" booklet for a basic account overview, and the enclosed "Your Deposit Account" brochure for more details. Within the brochure, refer to the "Fee Schedule and Funds Availability" disclosure for information about new fees, transaction access and funds availability for your personal and business accounts. Please keep these materials for future reference.
If you have any questions please call Mutual Bank's Customer Support Center at 800.382.8031, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once again, welcome! We look forward to bringing you our highest level of service and value every day. Go ahead…live a better life!
Sincerely,
